This device is designed for dental art and oral surgery (implant site preparation, bone cutting, maxillary sinus floor elevation (mucosa), osteoplasty, bone resection, periodontal surgery, prosthesis maintenance, surgical endodontic procedure).
The handpiece is fitted with a light; two handpieces are supplied.

Three possible working modes/programmes. Bone surgery (Bone), Periodontology (Perio) and endodontics (Endo). One automatic cleaning mode.
The working mode, ultrasonic power and pump flow rate can be selected via the touchscreen or by pressing the appropriate buttons on the foot pedal.
Only the lighting can be adjusted via the touchscreen.
Three options for lighting; "On", the LED lighting remains permanently on. "Off", the LED lighting remains permanently off. "Auto", The LED lighting turns on when the foot pedal is pressed and turns off automatically 3 seconds after releasing the pedal.
The ultrasonic power has 7 levels. Level 1, for low bone density. Levels 2–3, for uniform bone density. Levels 4–5 for high bone density. Levels 6–7 for very high bone density.
The irrigation pump flow rate also has 7 levels, from 45 to 100 ml/min.
The radial vibration amplitude of the inserts ranges from 8 to 63 microns/metre.
The lateral amplitude is 0.5 to 15 microns/metre

The ultrasonic impact cycle (in milliseconds, ms) in an ultrasonic dental surgery motor corresponds to the duration of a "pulse" or an active phase of ultrasonic vibration applied to the insert.
Ultrasonic motors (often used in bone surgery such as piezosurgery) operate through very rapid vibrations (generally between 20,000 and 40,000 Hz).
These vibrations are generated in phases/cycles (on/off)
Hence the ultrasonic impact cycle (in ms), which is therefore the time during which the ultrasound is actively applied before a pause.
It can therefore be seen as: an ON phase (impact) → active vibration (cutting, action on tissue) and an OFF phase (rest) → very short pause
For example: A 30ms cycle means 30 ms of vibrations followed by a pause and then another 30ms vibration phase…..
The cycle setting directly influences cutting efficiency; the longer the period, the more effective the cut and the faster the cutting, but conversely, the longer the cycle, the more heat it generates with a higher thermal risk.
AND the shorter the cycle, the less powerful the cut, but it is more precise, less aggressive and generates less heat.
