This red-ring micromotor is pneumatic. It connects to the dental chair’s turbine hose and has a light and an internal spray.

This is a standard pneumatic micromotor, except that it runs at twice the speed of a conventional pneumatic micromotor (red ring).

Instead of running at approximately 20,000 rpm, it runs at approximately 40,000 rpm (twice the speed), bringing it closer to the speeds of electric micromotors and allowing for similar applications.
