FILE FOR RECIPROCATING ROTATION WITH MODIFIED WORKING DIRECTION ANGLES S ONE 2018 TYPE

EXPLANATORY ;

Normally, a so-called "reciprocating" file is designed to work with an alternating rotation at different angles, with the main angle being counter-clockwise.

For example, a file must operate for optimum performance with a rotation of 150° counter-clockwise followed by 30° clockwise. Thus, with each cycle, the file "rotates" 120° counter-clockwise (150-30), and therefore in three cycles the file completes a full revolution.

Still for a classic reciprocating file, the "working" or "cutting" part of the file occurs in the counter-clockwise direction. The file "works" 150° counter-clockwise and "evacuates" 30° in the clockwise direction.

This type of file is the first type of reciprocating file to have been developed, and therefore all endodontic motors in reciprocating mode support this type of file.

The "disadvantage" is that this type of file "works/cuts" in the counter-clockwise direction, whereas continuous rotation files "work/cut" in the clockwise direction.....

Here, the S ONE 2018 file operates in reverse... That is to say, it is manufactured to "work/cut" in a clockwise direction.

It is still designed to operate in reciprocating rotation but with a rotation of 150° CLOCKWISE (the "cutting" direction) followed by 30° COUNTER-CLOCKWISE (the evacuation direction).

THE ADVANTAGE IS THEREFORE THAT THIS FILE CAN WORK BOTH IN CONTINUOUS ROTATION AND IN RECIPROCATING ROTATION (new mode).

You must therefore ensure that your motor supports this type of reciprocating file where the largest angle is in the clockwise direction.
